FEMA provides generic guidelines for everyone. Your plan is built specifically for YOUR address, YOUR family members by name, YOUR medical conditions, and YOUR local risks. It’s the difference between a generic pamphlet and a plan written for your household.
How long does the assessment take?
About 5 minutes. We ask about your address, home, family members, medical needs, and pets. Then our system analyzes your area’s risks and builds your complete plan.
What data sources do you use?
We pull from FEMA’s National Risk Index, NOAA weather data, USGS earthquake data, and local emergency management resources to build your location-specific risk profile.
Can I print this and put it in a binder?
Absolutely — it’s designed for exactly that. The PDF is formatted with clear sections and tabs so it prints cleanly at home. A professionally printed and bound version is coming soon — join the waitlist from your plan page to be notified first.
What if my family changes or we move?
You can update your plan anytime. New address, new family member, updated medications — just update your details and your plan regenerates.

What does Prepared Plan+ include?
Live safety alerts, plan refreshes every 3 months with updated threat data, unlimited PDF downloads, and plan regeneration on demand. $19.95 every 3 months or $59.95/year.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your My Plan dashboard. Go to My Plan → Account → Cancel. Your plan remains accessible — you just won’t receive updates or alerts.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you’re not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, contact us at support@preparedhero.com and we’ll issue a full refund — no questions asked.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe with 256-bit SSL encryption. We never store your credit card details on our servers.

Make sure you completed all 9 steps of the questionnaire with accurate details. The more specific your inputs (exact address, medical conditions, family details), the more personalized your plan. You can update your info and regenerate anytime.
How do I update my emergency contacts?
Go to the questionnaire from your dashboard (My Plan → Edit), update your contacts in the Emergency Contacts step, and regenerate your plan.
